 Art has been in business over 40 years.  He is originally from Wilkes Barre, PA, where he spent six years as a High School English Teacher.   In California, he founded California Candies, an all-natural candy company.  He and his family moved to Austin TX in 1991.  He became a realtor after heading up the largest TV product distribution company in the USA — The American Fulfillment Center.  Art loves music and is an accomplished pianist.  He loves boating, water skiing and swimming.  He spends his leisure time with his beautiful wife, Pam, and — when they are home from college — his two handsome and talented sons, Adam and David.  Art and Pam are quite proud of both boys!

Meri Christiansen ~ Administrative Assistant

 Meri has been on Art’s team for 20 years.   Her experience as a Bookkeeper, and Income Tax Practitioner enables her to bring to the team an attention to detail that is totally necessary in today’s real estate industry.  Among her many other duties, she coordinates the detailed real estate process once the contract has been signed.  She works closely with our clients, their Lenders, Termite Companies, Physical Inspectors, Escrow Officers, Title Companies and other agents.  Her attention to detail and genuine concern for our clients ensure that all of our transactions close as smoothly and successfully as possible.   “As a previous client myself, I know how important it is for our clients to feel very comfortable with the entire home buying, or selling process.”  

 Meri is originally from Long Island, NY and has two “beautiful” daughters, one “very handsome” son, and four “amazing” grandchildren!  Her leisure-time-loves include reading and, when she can squeeze it in, writing.
